"But if you try sometimes, well you might find… You get what you need." Lyrics from a very popular Rolling Stone’s song. If you stop and really think about those words, and your life, you might find that those very words although

sometimes harsh, are very true. Do you find yourself struggling in a certain area in your life? Maybe it is financial, spiritual, physical, mental, or even social. Have you slowed down enough to think that just maybe you are the one holding yourself back? I know that sounds ridiculous, since we are all perfect and we would never be responsible for our own short comings. But seriously, maybe it’s time to take a deep look at why you are frustrated and or failing in certain areas of your life.
Here’s another interesting piece by an anonymous confederate soldier:I asked God for strength, that I might achieve,I was made weak, that I might learn to humbly obey.I asked for health, that I might do greater things,I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.I asked for riches, that I might be happy,I was given poverty, that I might be wise.I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men,I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life,I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.I got nothing I asked for-But everything I hoped for.Almost despite myself, myUnspoken prayers were answered.I am, among, all men, most richly blessed. There are times in our life when we need to stop, take a look at what is happening and what has happened. Most of us have different things in our head that we want to see happen as opposed to what is happening right now. Some of you want to look like a fitness model. Some of you want to be able to take multiple vacations a year. Others want to have close friends that they can trust and rely on. However, if those things are just not happening, those exact things that are in your head , it’s probably because you are stuck doing the same things that you have been doing for years.
Its okay, none of us are perfect. We are not laughing at you during your struggles. However, the Rolling Stones might be ready to tell you that you are in a place you need to be, until you learn to break out of it. Personally, I could not handle a multi-million dollar business right now. I am still learning to handle the small one that I got. Personally, I could not be a star in a movie, I am still learning to shoot video for my own website.
My message to you today is this: Analyze, go forward and enjoy life. Take the time to try and understand why you are going through the things you are going through. Once you realize where you need to improve, just start. As long as you are moving forward you are going to be okay. Last but not least, learn to enjoy life even if all your hopes and dreams are not at your feet.
This message goes out to all of you that are just starting an exercise program of some sort. Don’t get caught up in the “I want to see results yesterday” group. Your health is more important than your looks, and I am proud of you for taking the step towards a fitter, healthier you! Keep going and you will start to see and feel the results of your hard work. Do it in a way that it becomes a lifestyle, not a race towards the finish line. Please use the Ask Vanda section of the forum, and I will try to help you in any way that I can.
