Why Alkalizing is Important
Why Alkalizing is Important to Your Health, Weight and Skin

According to many scientists and natural nutritionists, the over-acidification of the body causes imbalances which may lead to dis-ease and weight gain.

What is acidic to the body?

Acidic foods include dairy, sugar, tobacco, and animal protein. Acidic beverages include alcohol, soda, power drinks, coffee and processed fruit juices. Acidic environments include pollution, toxins, negative emotions, stress, emotional trauma, over training and Electro Magnetic Frequencies.

What does this mean for you?

The body must expend energy to neutralize the acid to maintain its natural alkaline state. This balancing act is hard on the body and may eventually cause low energy levels, excess weight, aches and pains and other disturbing symptoms to deal with.

How do you compensate?

Adding more alkaline foods and beverages into your daily diet will assist your body in balancing with minimal effort. This could translate into more energy, weight release, a clearer mind, better overall health and more ability to manage stress.

Where do you start?

Hydration!!!! You are 70% water. Clean water is required to bring nutrients into your cells, and to remove waste from your cells.

How much hydration is best for you?

A general guideline is this; half your body weight in ounces.
For example, a 120 lb person would drink 60 ounces of water per day (approx. 2 liters), a 180 lb person would drink 90 ounces of water per day (appox. 3 liters).
Beware, side effects of drinking adequate clean water may include more energy, clearer skin, weight release, less aches and pains and more trips to the bathroom.

Next week’s focus will be on alkaline vegetables and how to get enough of them.

Live in Balance.
