Terry Frendo and Inside Fitness magazine held their 2008 model search at this year’s U.F.E/M.V.P. championships. The winner of the event would not only receive the title of champion, but they would also receive a photo shoot for Inside Fitness magazine as well. With the possibility of a cover on one of Canada’s leading fitness magazines, many beautiful fitness models turned out to compete for the prestigious title.
With a guaranteed photo shoot for Inside Fitness magazine with Canada’s top fitness photographer, Paul Buceta on the line, ladies from across the country and even the United States came to challenge for the title. From the start two fellow Canadians and good friends seemed to stand out from the rest. Michele DeMaria and Vanda Hadareran both possessed that certain something that had them in the forefront. Sure enough it did come down to the two beauties after all and everyone anxiously awaited as the runner up was about to be called.
Michele DeMaria, was announced as the runner up which left Vanda Hadarean as the nights big winner. “It’s great to win, but I would have been excited for my friend Michele to win also. I am grateful and I had a lot of fun as well.” When asked about her upcoming photo shoot Vanda replied, “It will be great, now that I have more time to do that sort of thing; I am excited about it and look forward to making it the kick off to many more great shoots.”
