Vanda excited about the possibilities.
In a recent media interview, Vanda discusses the launch of her fabulous new website, inspiredbyvanda.com.
Media: So many of your fans are wanting to know, why the name Inspired by Vanda?
Vanda: Well, the two people that were the most instrumental in this website coming together were my partner Wade Robinson, and my friend Shawn Dawson. Wade does the designing of the site, logo, etc. and Shawn came up with the name. Pretty much everything I do now will be branded by the Inspired by Vanda name and logo.
Media: What happened to your previous site, officialvanda.com?
Vanda: If that site was a flower it would have been dead a long time ago (laughing). Over the past couple years we just didn’t have the time to update that site. While I was still coaching gymnastics, I rarely had time to dedicate to anything else. We also needed a new site format to support the features that will be available on inspriedbyvanda.com, such as a forum where I’ll be sharing fitness tips.
Media: Your schedule is less hectic since your focus turned from gymnastics to fitness?
Vanda: Yes, my career has changed since I am no longer coaching gymnastics. I am now focusing on Inspired by Vanda full time, along with training clients and hobbies like fitness competitions. I am excited to reach more people and help them anyway I can to fulfill their goals. Obviously the site will be great for that.
Media: What are the future plans for the site?
Vanda: In the near future we are planning to do downloadable workouts, provide one on one consultations, and possibly conference calls for myself and guests. After that we’ll expand into a clothing line for sale, books, and DVDs that I would want to include. Perhaps even a mini show within the site. Those are just some ideas we’re working on right now. We’ll see what ends up happening.
Media: What are you most looking forward to regarding the site?
Vanda: Definitely the interaction with clients and fans. Being able to talk to people all over the world and helping them out one way or another to reach their goals.
Media: What are your thoughts on the site right now as it launches?
Vanda: I am very happy with the site. We have lots of ideas to develop more content so it will grow a lot over the next little while as things get finalized. The launch is a solid foundation for what’s to come.
Media: Anything you would like to say to those that will be visiting inspiredbyvanda.com for the first time?
Vanda: I hope you like the site, and I hope you check back regularly to see it grow. I’m sure it has something to offer you now or in the near future. Email me your thoughts on the site, or what you would like to see.
