Friends and Cirque de Soleil all in one night. 
The only thing better than having Cirque de Soleil roll into town, is having friends performing in Cirque de Soleil when it rolls into town. I am a big fan of Cirque and have seen a few of their shows over the years. As a performer and athlete, I can truly appreciate the dedication and discipline it takes for the Cirque cast to pull off their amazing shows.
On October the 11th I was fortunate enough to attend a Cirque performance, go backstage, and lastly meet with some friends who are also performers in the show. Of course the show was breathtaking as all Cirque shows are. Fortunately, my seats were right up front, so that gave me another level of entertainment as I could really see facial expressions and look into the eyes of the cast as they were performing.
Going backstage was interesting as I was able to see how the show comes together, and how everyone prepares for their performances. It really is a massive undertaking to pull off such a harmonious event. I believe there were over fifty transport trucks to facilitate the undertaking of this show.
To end the evening I was able to meet up with some friends briefly, and that really finished the evening off nicely for me. Maybe I will see you at a show in the future!
