Show me your abs and I can tell you roughly how well you are taking care of your health and fitness.
Flat abs and a small waistline are sexy, but not just sexy, healthy too!Building great looking abs takes some preparation time, working out, cardio and of course clean meals. Now what do I mean by clean meals? I mean that the majority of your meals should be in their natural state. No refined food, no

processed food. Some examples include: vegetables, fruits, lean meat, beans, brown rice, whole grain breads, and nuts. For all you cheese lovers, try and say no! Cheese contains a lot of fat.
People around me hear me say all the time,
“great abs start in the kitchen.” You can workout, and do a bunch of cardio but, if you are not watching what you eat and drink, you will not see the results. Good clean eating with help with your overall health and will help you get sexy washboard abs.
I know it is difficult to learn everything at once, but just remember that strength training, cardio and proper eating are always the foundation to success in health and fitness. Learn to balance all three and I guarantee you will see the results sooner than later.
Some of my tips for training and seeing abs are:1) Learn to train your core for all its benefits. It is your foundation. 2) Give your abs rest time, and don’t forget to train obliques and lower back.3) If you can do tons and tons of reps you are either doing them too fast or with poor form. Unless you are going for a World Record, there is no reason to spend that much time on your abs.4) Once you have some of the basic ab exercises down, spice things up a bit for fun and for results. Either find brand new exercises or learn to make the more basic moves harder.5) Learn to pull your abdomen in towards your spine when you perform your ab exercises. You need to learn to do this while breathing properly. 6) Learn what to eat and when.7) A proper combination of strength training, cardio and good eating habits are a must for a sexy body!8) Push yourself when training and focus in on what you need to do. Poor focus and a lack of a goal with delay your process.9) Learn to do interval training where you push hard and then slow down. This works well for both cardio and for strength training. You will push yourself to burn fat faster this way and you will see the results. Your results will be determined by the effort you put in!
